About Rorey

RunCap was founded by Rorey Hunter, a professional middle-distance runner and physiotherapist whose career on the track and in the clinic spans more than two decades. As a former Australian representative and national medalist over 1500m, Rorey has trained and competed at the highest levels of the sport, experiencing both the thrill of peak performance and the setbacks that come with injury and recovery.

What makes Rorey’s coaching approach unique is his rare combination of expertise: alongside his athletic career, he holds a Masters in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Exercise Science, blending advanced knowledge of biomechanics, physiology, and rehabilitation with the lived experience of elite competition. With more than five years of clinical physiotherapy practice, he has helped countless athletes return from injury stronger, smarter, and more resilient.

At RunCap, Rorey specialises in designing individualised, evidence-based training programs that optimise performance while protecting long-term health. His coaching integrates insights from sports science, injury prevention, and his own journey as a world-class runner. Whether you’re aiming to run faster, go further, or simply enjoy running, Rorey provides the tools, structure, and support to help you unlock your full potential.
